Here is a clip of Jon Bones Jones arriving at a hotel in San Diego for the UFC Live 2 fight where he faced and defeated Matyushenko. As you already know Jones wore the Form Athetics for this fight, but here we see him wearing the Silver Star Electric shirt, that was worn by Clay Guida at UFC 117. Jon Joneshas worn Silver Star shirts before, so it seems like the relationship between these two entities is still there. At 22 years of age, Jon Bones Jones is one of the best new MMA fighters in the UFC, if not THE best. His only loss is to Matt Hamill due to a disqualification. Jon Jones was just destroying Hamill, until he got careless. Jones is one of the most exciting fighters in the octagon today, and his relaxed demeanor during fights reminds us of Anderson Silva. With more experience under his belt, we could hope that Jon Jones has a chance to fight the Spider. That would be a treat to any MMA fan.
During his fight against respected Brandon Vera, Jones did not look like a typical young kid. He was in control most of the fight, and even took some illegal kicks to the face from Vera. After the second illegal kick, it was as if Jones simply decided that it was time to end the fight, because he just started annihilating Vera with punches to the face. Vera could do nothing but take it until the ref stopped the fight. This is just a sign of whats to come with the young MMA fighter in Jon Bones Jones.
At the event, Jones wore the Silver Star shirt which is very similar to the shirt he wore at the TUF finale, this time with the different lighter color scheme. Its a great shirt featuring foil accents, with an angel on the front, and a large cross on the back.
