How can we describe the typical Bad Boy brand shirt? Honestly, we think they are pretty plain. Most of the time they have the famous Bad Boy logo placed in the different areas of the shirt, but thats basically all you would expect from their shirts. Plain doesn’t mean bad or boring by any means. Bad Boy logo is probably one of the best logos in MMA right now. No other logo matches the two eyes staring right at you. However, many other brands involved in MMA clothing, have shirts that are really loud, with lots of artwork and crazy design. Roger Huerta’s UFC Fight Night Bad Boy shirt had a cool tribal design on it, but still, the shirt looked a bit plain.
Looks like Bad Boy is taking notes and are trying to broaden their horizon as far as the shirt design is concerned. And it shows! Roger Huerta will face Gray Maynard at the UFC Fight Night 19 on September 16th, 2009. The last time UFC held an event in Oklahoma was 15 years ago, when Royce Gracie defeated Dan Severn, in what is now considered the UFC Hall of Fame fight. There is no doubt this even will be watched by many viewers as it will be a non-pay-per-view event, available to many more viewers across the world.
Roger “El Matador” Huerta is fighting out of Austin, TX, and is looking to win as his last fight against Kenny Florian ended in a loss with a unanimous decision. Before losing to Kenny, Huerta had sixteen straight wins and one no contest. His current record holds at 22-2-1 and 1 no contest – very respectable to say the least.
Bad Boy Brands signed Roger Huerta in 2008 and he hasn’t dissapointed. This MMA shirt will be worn by Huerta during UFC Fight Night 19. As seen in the picture, it has a tribal design that resembles Roger’s tatoos that cover his chest and shoulder. This tatoo design was once donned by Māori warriors and was designed for Huerta for the obvious reasons.
