On April 30, 2011 Georges St. Pierre is coming home to Canada to face off against Jake Shields at the UFC 129. Shields hasn’t lost a fight since 2004, which makes him a very serious opponent. GSP has been living the high life in the UFC on an eight fight winning streak, and this might be his toughest challenge in a long time. Georges St. Pierre is in the big leagues now, being the first MMA fighter signed by one of the major athletic companies Under Armour. This is a big deal to any MMA fighter, as the doors to bigger and better endorsements might be coming their way as well. This will help the sport grow, and reach more and more people worldwide. Hopefully there will be more MMA Shirts coming from Under Armour soon. Very exciting indeed.

Georges St-Pierre will face off against Josh Koscheck at the UFC 124 event which will be held in GSP’s home country, Canada. This fight is between the two coaches of this season’s The Ultimate Fighter. St-Pierre hasn’t lost since 2007, and has already beat Koscheck so you can say that fight has a lot riding on it. These guys do not like each other, and with the history between them, this will be a great fight.
